Meet Leanne

Meet Leanne - a Chartered HCPC Registered Consultant Clinical Psychologist with a wealth of trauma informed training and experience integrating Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Eye Movement De-sensitisation Re-processing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy-Adolescents, Therapeutic Life Story Work and Internal Family Systems. Leanne finds Reflective Practice essential to ‘helping the helpers’. 

Being a qualified teacher, Leanne has a passion for education and training others.  She is experienced in supporting clinicians, parents and carers, foster carers, adoptive parents and educators on an individual, group and service level.  Leanne facilitates a DDP Network for Residential Care Professionals, as well as supporting a Clinical Psychologists working in Education Special Interest Group (British Psychological Society).

Leanne recognises that the impact of trauma can be far-reaching and polarising.  Instead of fostering collaboration, teams supporting can sometimes find themselves at odds.  Leanne believes that to positively impact trauma, there is a need to support healing beyond individual therapy; responding at all levels to reach the fabric of society.

Through her organisation-wide roles, working strategically enables her to ensure the most effective, non-judgemental, compassionate and transformative approach to trauma-sensitive therapy, parenting, care and education – to ultimately prevent trauma for future generations.
